Community & Discord Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

The lvls Discord is where the engine publishes and where members talk. This policy draws one line and holds it: everything we publish is impersonal, and nothing in chat — from us or dressed up to look like it came from us — is personalized advice. These rules are a condition of membership. They protect the legal footing that lets this service exist, so they are enforced without exception, including against us.

1. Alerts are impersonal publications

Every alert the engine fires is generated by fixed, mechanical rules and published to all subscribers identically and simultaneously. No member receives a different alert, an earlier alert, or an annotated alert. No alert is addressed to, adjusted for, or triggered by any individual member’s situation. The same is true of the journal and the stand-down feed: one publication, everyone at once.

Nothing in any lvls channel is personalized investment advice, and no amount of conversation changes that. lvls is not a broker or a registered adviser of any kind — the full posture is in the Risk Disclosure, which every member should read before acting on anything.

2. Staff never comment on your positions — ever

The operator and every person acting for lvls (staff, moderators, and any account marked with a staff role) observe one absolute rule:

We never comment on any member’s positions, sizing, entries, or exits. Not in public channels, not in threads, not in direct messages, not hypothetically, not approvingly, not disapprovingly. Ever.

  • Questions like “should I take this one?”, “is my stop too tight?”, “how many contracts would you do?”, or “should I hold or exit here?” will not be answered. Silence or a pointer back to this policy is the complete response, and it is not rudeness — it is the product working as designed.
  • Staff answers about the system — what a gate measures, why the engine stood down, how costs are modeled, what a journal entry means — are always about the published system, never about what any member should do with it.
  • A staff member who breaks this rule faces the same enforcement as anyone else, and the message is removed. Report violations — by staff included — to hey@composite.fyi.

3. Members may not speak for us

Members are welcome to discuss markets, the engine’s published output, and their own thinking. Members may not blur the line between their words and ours:

  • Do not present your posts, analysis, or opinions as advice, guidance, or signals from lvls. What you write is yours.
  • Do not imply staff endorsement of a trade, a plan, or a post — including by quoting alerts alongside your own commentary in a way that reads as ours.
  • Do not impersonate the operator, staff, moderators, or the engine — in this server or anywhere else — and do not use the lvls name or marks to promote your own signals, rooms, or services.
  • Do not tell another member what to trade “on our behalf.” Nobody trades on our behalf, because we do not tell anyone what to trade.

4. No performance testimonials — a published policy

lvls maintains a standing no-testimonials policy:

  • We do not solicitearnings or performance testimonials from members — no “share your results” campaigns, no prompted reviews about outcomes, no case studies of member profits.
  • We do not publish or permit such testimonials in our marketing — not on this site, not in ads, not in social posts, not as screenshots of member messages. If a member posts about an outcome in chat, that post stays in chat; it will never be reused as promotion.
  • Channels are not a promotional surface. Moderators may remove posts that read as performance advertising — member gain or loss screenshots framed as proof the service works, or invitations to treat one member’s outcome as evidence of anyone else’s.

The reason is the same one behind everything else here: one member’s outcome — with their fills, sizing, costs, and discretion — is not evidence of what the published system does, and we will not borrow it as if it were. What we stand behind is the journal: every fire, costs included, gates published in advance.

5. General conduct

  • Follow Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, or personal attacks.
  • No spam, no solicitation, no promotion of other paid rooms, signal services, brokers, or affiliate links.
  • No redistributing alerts outside the server — reposting, rebroadcasting, or reselling the feed breaches the Terms & Conditions as well as this policy.
  • No attempts to extract personalized advice by rephrasing — asking the same position question in different words gets the same non-answer.

6. Moderation and removal

We may remove any message and may warn, mute, suspend, or permanently remove any member for violating this policy, at our discretion and without prior notice where the violation is clear. Rule 2 and Rule 3 violations — anything that makes an impersonal publication look personal — are treated as the most serious category and can result in immediate removal on a first offense. Removal from the community for cause does not, by itself, create a right to a refund; see the Billing & Refunds policy.

7. Reporting

Report policy violations — including anything a staff member says that looks like a comment on a member’s positions, and anyone impersonating lvls on or off Discord — to hey@composite.fyi. Include a link or screenshot of the message if you can. Reports are read by the operator.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it and notice is posted in the server. Continued participation after a change takes effect is acceptance of the updated policy.
